About Me

ecmd: the truth is that i chronically seem to have more energy and ideas than i can productively channel, so this blog seems like a good place to put all it down. my thought is that this summer vacation could be like no other with my three boys and my hope is that this blog will serve as a place for me to organize my thoughts and to plan our next endeavor in this; the great state of connecticut (and a bit beyond) hmm, did I just say that? yes, I struggle with a level of disconnectedness with this place, and have pretty much since moving here several years ago. so, i am now determined to spend this summer vacation finding all of the great things that Connecticut has to offer and hopefully impart some of this free IS fun philosophy to the kids. the reality is that there really is a TON of cheap and free fun to be had out there for parents, families and kids ...if you just look, or just read my blog.(just wish this state was much more bicycle-friendly.) anyway, hopefully, this little project will prove to be a success on some level, not only for us, but for someone else out there as well. happy summer.....
